GQEBERHA: Kerala player Sanju Samson disappoints in his return to the Indian team. In the second ODI match against South Africa, the Malayali player, who came to the crease fifth, managed to score just 12 runs from 23 balls. Only one four came from the player's bat.
Sanju was clean bowled after playing a bad shot off Proteas pacer Beuran Hendricks. Sanju was also included in the first ODI team but did not get a chance to bat. With this, we will have to wait and see if the star will be included in the playing eleven for the final match.
Meanwhile, young player Sai Sudharsan scored a half-century in the second match of his career. The player scored 62 runs off 83 balls with seven fours and one six. Apart from Sudharsan, skipper KL Rahul also scored a half-century.
Batting first after losing the toss, India have lost five wickets after 35 overs. Ruturaj Gaikwad, Sai Sudharsan, Tilak Verma, Sanju Samson and captain KL Rahul are out.
