THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KSRTC Executive Director (Vigilance) suspended two different drivers and three conductors pending investigation for negligence and irregularity in work.

Payyannur depot driver AU Uthaman, Vellanad depot driver J Surendran, Thamarassery depot conductor A Tony, Thiruvananthapuram city depot conductor PS Abhilash and Palakkad depot conductor PM Muhammad Salih were suspended.

Driver AU Uthaman was suspended for driving a private school bus without performing Sabarimala duty, Driver J Surendran's suspension is for his involvement in a criminal case, A Tony was suspendedfor extorting money by operating the bus using a manual rack, and PS Abhilash in the case of collecting fare from 4 people and issuing only two tickets in the Kochuveli-East Fort route and PM Muhammad Salih for allowing a free ride to a passenger without giving a ticket.
