THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Nava Kerala Sadas, a statewide public outreach programme by the LDF Government, is nearing completion. It will enter the capital city today. Meantime, the Congress will stage a state-wide protest march as it enters Thiruvananthapuram today.
The first meeting of Nava Kerala Sadas will be held at Sivagiri Mutt Auditorium in Varkala at 6 pm. The Sadas at Attingal, Chirayinkeez Vamanapuram and Nedumangad constituencies will be convened tomorrow. The meeting will be held in Kattakkada, Aruvikkara, Neyyattinkara and Parasala constituencies on December 22. It will conclude on Dec 23rd with meetings at Nemom, Vattiyoorkavu, Kovalam, Kazhakoottam and Thiruvananthapuram constituencies.
The Congress and the UDF are on the move to intensify their fight against the Nava Kerala Sadas. Congress activists will stage marches to all 564 police stations in the state today. The leaders informed that five lakh people will participate in the march which will be held at 11 am. The Nava Kerala march will conclude on December 23 in the capital city. A march will be staged to the DGP office under the leadership of KPCC president K Sudhakaran on the last day of the Sadas. It is heard that MPs, MLAs and other people's representatives will participate in the march.
