On the birthday of her late daughter Nandhana, singer exemplary K S Chithra jotted down a heart-wrenching note on her social media page, recalling the joyous time she had with her daughter.

“You left a hole in my heart and it will never be filled. Every day passes with memories of you. I miss you more. Happy Birthday, Nandhana” K S Chithra wrote on her Facebook page with a lovely picture of Nandhana.

Followers and admirers of the singer came with supporting words and praised the actress for her humility. The post has already received more than 20,000 likes on social media pages.

In 2011, Nandhana who was just nine at the time accidentally slipped into a swimming pool inside a villa in Dubai, where she later died. The singer fell into despair soon after the horrific incident but returned to the limelight again after persuasion from her friends and admirers.

Since then, Chithra made it a practice to write down a small note wishing birthday to her daughter, on every December 18th.
