THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Navakerala Sadas, which has shaken the political and social movements in the state for more than a month, will have its grand finale in the capital today. The only communist government in India created a new history by coming down to the people. People's participation also attracted attention.
The Navakerala Sadas, which started from Manjeswaram on November 18, will end today after covering all 140 assembly constituencies. The Chief Minister and Ministers interacted with the selected officials from all sectors in the morning Sadas of each day. Valuable suggestions were received for the progress of future Kerala. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's press conference followed after that. On the same day, the address of the Chief Minister and Ministers with a huge crowd in four constituencies as witnesses. Counters to receive complaints from people in parallel. Associations of officials to evaluate them. This was the mode of travel.
The Chief Minister answered the opposition's questions about what was achieved by the Navakerala Sadas and how many grievances were redressed. "This is not just a grievance redressal forum. It's a distinct initiative to share with the people the problems and welfare activities faced by the government and the state. The Chief Minister and the government are confident that this initiative will be successful. The government's priority will now be to resolve the complaints received as soon as possible.'
Protests heated up
The political dimension of the Navakerala Sadas is that with three months left for the parliamentary elections, it has paved the way not only for the LDF but also for the UDF and the BJP to shake off their laziness and get ready for battle. The Congress leaders, who confined their fighting spirit in statements and speeches, were corrected by the members. The protest by Youth Congress and KSU activists against the Navakerala bus also lacked an organized form.
Despite the DYFI activists confronting the black flag protesters, there was no significant response from the Congress leaders at first. It was also alleged that the leaders are not taking Kuttavicharana Sadas, which was started by the UDF as an alternative to Navakerala, seriously. Finally, when the anger of the activists came to a boil, they were forced to give instructions for a counterattack. This is what was witnessed from Kollam. Vigilance was also evident in the ranks of the BJP. The efforts of the fronts will be to maintain this awareness until the elections.

The concluding meeting of the Navakerala Sadas will be held at Vattiyoorkavu Nettayam this evening. 19,693 applications were received from four constituencies on the first day in the district. The Sadas in Tripunithura, Piravam, Kunnathunad and Thrikakkara constituencies of Ernakulam district, which were postponed to December 9 following the death of Kanam Rajendran, will be held on January 1 and 2. There may be two new ministers in the new year sadas's. Ramachandran Kadanapalli and KB Ganeshkumar. The LDF meeting on 24th will decide on making them ministers.
