PATHANAMTHITTA: Seven people were injured in two separate road accidents on the Sabarimala road on Saturday morning. The first accident happened near Erumeli parking lot around 4 am. A minibus that was moving near the parking area, lost control and fell into a nearby stream. Four pilgrims were injured in the accident. There were a total of 12 pilgrims inside the vehicle at the time of the accident. According to police, the injuries are not serious.
The second accident happened at Kanmala Attivalam around 5:30 am on Saturday. A minibus lost control on the road and overturned with pilgrims inside. Three pilgrims were injured in the accident but the injuries are not grave as per reports. They were admitted to the hospital by the Safe Zone officials led by the Motor Vehicle Department. The devotees were from Tamil Nadu's Marthandam.
