Both filed a complaint with the South Police, but no case was registered. When they sought a report on the complaint given to the District Police Chief, the South Police replied that they were beaten with a lathi in an unavoidable situation. Subsequently, a private complaint was filed in the court along with the video. The court heard the petition and directed the Alappuzha South Police to file a case.
