KANNUR: A native of Kashmir was arrested for trying to break into the Ezhimala Naval Academy. Muhammad Murtas, a native of Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir, was arrested.

He is being interrogated by the Payyannur police. He said that he is a student in Mumbai. The incident happened this afternoon. Muhammad reached the naval academy around 12 o'clock and tried to enter through the gate. Payyannur police reached the spot and took him into custody.

He said contradictory things during interrogation. He was arrested and produced before the Kannur court and remanded.
