LUCKNOW: Forest department officials caught the tiger that went loose in a village and locked it in a cage. The incident took place in a village in Uttar Pradesh and the video is going viral on social media. The authorities caught the tiger which reached Atkona village in Kalinagar on Monday night from the Pilibhit tiger reserve.
The tiger was caught with a huge crowd around it. The officers caught the tiger by its tail when the tiger tried to attack them when they tried to shoot the tranquillizer. The tiger was put in a cage after being sedated.
When the villagers checked why the stray dogs were barking at night, they saw the tiger resting on the wall. With this, the forest department was informed. The villagers kept vigil all night.
In the video, several people can be seen watching the tiger relax. Reportedly, the tiger did not attack anyone. The villagers alleged that such incidents are happening due to the negligence of the forest department.
