KOCHI: Four people namely Anas, Abu Thahir from Mannarkkad along with Rahul and Athuldev from Karthikapally were arrested by the authorities in Kochi. The altercation stemmed from the substandard quality of cannabis sold and monetary disputes among the gang members.

The police reported that the dispute arose when Athuldev, who had purchased two kilos of ganja for New Year celebrations raised concerns about the product's quality and demanded a return. Consequently, three others took back the two kilos of ganja but financial settlements were left incomplete.

Today, the four accused convened at Konthuruthi in Kochi leading to heated arguments and physical altercations. Alerted by local witnesses, law enforcement arrived on the scene. Upon investigation, the police discovered MDMA and two kilos of ganja in possession of the accused. Moreover, the authorities indicated that another person associated with the group is on the verge of being arrested.
