NEW DELHI: Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan has revealed how he tackled all adversity in his life by gracing a smile on his face every time. Even while passing through a difficult marriage, Dhawan always had a smile on his face which helped him evade the media scrutiny.
The cricketer was granted a divorce last October after a court found that he faced severe mental torture from his ex-wife Ayesha Mukherjee. Shikhar Dhawan has now shared an emotional note on his son Zoravar's birthday. Dhawan says it's been a year since he last saw his son and his ex-wife has blocked him from all social media platforms making it difficult for him to connect with his son.
Shikhar Dhawan wished his son on his birthday through an Instagram post. While granting the divorce, the court had also allowed terms for the cricketer to spend time with his son. Ayesha Mukherjee has an Australian citizenship and lives in that country. The court had granted Dhawan the right to visit his son and stay with him during vacations.
However, in his note, Dhawan said he has been denied permission to be with his son. Keeping aside the controversy, the cricket's note to his son is heartening nonetheless.
