THIRUVANATHAPURAM: Kerala Congress (B) has urged the Chief Minister to assign the film department to Minister K.B Ganesh Kumar. Per the LDF agreement, Ganesh Kumar is set to take over the transport department previously managed by Antony Raju. The request for the film department comes as Saji Cherian currently oversees its affairs.

On December 29, the swearing-in ceremony for K.B. Ganesh Kumar and Kadannapalli Ramachandran as new ministers is scheduled. Reports indicate a potential Cabinet reshuffle following the Nava Kerala Sadas.

Former History Minister Antony Raju emphasized that KSRTC isn't profit-oriented stressing the importance of ensuring efficient travel facilities. He spoke at a Meet the Press event at the Press Club expressing pride in the dismissal of Asst. Motor Vehicle Inspector S Kirankumar for his involvement in Dr Vismaya's dowry death.

Two electric double-decker buses, manufactured in Maharashtra, are due to arrive in Kerala within a month. This marks the state's inaugural introduction of electric double-decker buses. Additionally, a fleet of 123 diesel buses and 38 electric buses is expected within the next two months.
