NEW DELHI: Parle-G Biscuits evokes pure nostalgia in every eighties and nineties kids. This is 2023 and the brand is still successfully running in the market producing varied mixtures of biscuits with its defining parle-G taste.

One of the unique features of Parle Biscuits is its cover design. There wouldn’t be any 80s and 90s kid who doesn't recognize the picture of the girl on the cover. After such a long and historical run, the biscuit makers have decided to replace the kid model. Parle changed its cover design in response to content creator Zervaan J Bunshah’s viral video.

A video of Zervaan sitting confused in a car had earlier gone viral. The caption of the video reads, 'If you meet the owner of Parle, would you call him Parle Sir, Mr Parle or Parle Ji'? The hit song from Anil Kapoor's movie ' A. G. O. G' can also be heard in the background.

Parle's official account commented, 'Bunshah ji, you can call us OG' which also went viral across cyberspace. After this, Parle changed its cover design. Parle replaced the cover girl with Bunshaw's smiling face with the caption, 'Your favourite biscuit to enjoy with tea while figuring out what to call the owner of Parle'.

“This is a great greeting. 'Parle-G has always been my nutritional food during outings, parties and gatherings.” replied Bunshah.
