THRISSUR: BJP state president, K Surendran, expressed confidence in the return of the Narendra Modi government stating it is widely believed even by opponents that Modi will reclaim power. Surendran emphasized Modi's popularity and asserted that there is no alternative for Kerala besides Modi's leadership. He highlighted Modi's track record of progress, claiming people have faith in Modi's promises.
Surendran accused the Congress of capitulating to religious and communal forces criticizing their lack of a clear stance on participation in the upcoming Prana Pratishtha ceremony marking Lord Rama's return to Ayodhya after 500 years. While all political parties have received invitations for the event, Surendran pointed out the Congress's ambiguity on the matter questioning their deviation from the stance they held while restoring the Somnath temple.
The BJP leader urged the Kerala Congress to clarify their position insinuating that if the majority's beliefs are disregarded due to concerns about the minority vote bank, it could lead to severe consequences.
