GURUGRAM: In a gore incident, a woman was stabbed to death in Gurugram on Monday. Lakshmi Rawat (23) was found dead inside her apartment in DLF Phase 3 S block.

According to police, the death happened due to the injuries suffered in the stabbing, which was done with the help of a sharp weapon. Lakshmi’s husband Gaurav Sharma is on the run and the police have intensified the search.

The house was locked when the police reached the spot after getting information about the murder. The police concluded that Gaurav may have locked the house after killing Lakshmi. The police entered by breaking the door. What caught the eyes of the police was a two-year-old child uncontrollably crying near the dead body.

The deceased, a native of Agra, moved to this house with her husband just six months ago. The dead body was found to be one day old.
