THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The budget meeting of the Legislative Assembly is likely to start on 25th of this month amid the open war between the governor and the government. A decision in this regard may be taken in the cabinet meeting tomorrow. Political Kerala is looking forward to the Governor's policy announcement in the first meeting of the new year.
The Chief Minister and the Governor did not face each other during the swearing-in ceremony of the new ministers held last week. As the battle rages, the position of the governor is crucial in arriving at a policy announcement. As the government and the governor are in a head-to-head battle, it remains to be seen whether there will be any compromise. The black flag and banner protests against the governor has infuriated him while holding up the bills and statements like financial emergency has infuriated the government as well.
