CHENNAI: In an interesting development, a petition reached the Madras High Court on Wednesday requesting the court to examine popular film director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s mental state. According to the petitioner, Lokesh has made it a trend to depict violence and gore elements in a suave way to win young moviegoers.

The petition also points out how in every Lokesh movie, the heroine ends up getting killed brutally. The petition also put the latest Lokesh movie ‘Leo’ in reference for examining his claims. The petitioner blamed this archetypal Lokesh style for sending the wrong message to society.
