THRISSUR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi was warmly welcomed by the women's community upon his arrival at Thekkinkadu ground in an open jeep at 3:50 PM. Walking 200 meters to the stage he received flowers and party flags from the women gathered there.

At 4:00 PM, BJP State Vice President Shobha Surendran greeted PM Modi as he reached the stage. In his speech, he lauded Mariyakutty, singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, women cricketer Minnu Mani and others. He blessed Vaikom Vijayalakshmi and Minnu Mani by placing his hands on their heads.

Commencing at 4:25 PM, the speech lasted 41 minutes highlighting various achievements. State President K Surendran presented a sculpture of Lord Rama from Ayodhya as a gift. Notable gifts included a garland worn by Mahila Morcha office bearers and a sand picture from painter Babu Edakkunni displayed at 51 different villages in India.

Several dignitaries attended including Union Minister V Muralidharan, actor Suresh Gopi and others from political and entertainment spheres. BJP State President K. Surendran presided over the event. The attendees included a multitude of leaders and dignitaries emphasizing the strong support for PM Modi's presence and initiatives.
