KASARAGOD: Union Surface Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari conducted the foundation stone laying of nine projects related to national highways in Kasaragod and the dedication of three roads in Munnar online. Union Minister of State V Muraleedharan and State Public Works Minister PA Mohammed Riyas also participated online.

The Union Minister appreciated Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Public Works Minister PA Mohammed Riyas for their efficient work in acquiring the land. Gadkari said that the Mumbai-Kanyakumari corridor, which is part of the National Highway, will be of great benefit to Kerala.

Minister Riyas appreciated Union Minister Nitin Gadkari for his positive vision in implementing development projects and said that we can move forward as a team. At the same time, Riyas also demanded that the habit of putting Caltrop by some people due to political antagonism, while moving forward collectively for development, should stop.

Union Minister of State V Muraleedharan said that he is thankful to the Prime Minister and the Surface Transport Minister for providing all the support to complete the projects that will form the basis of Kerala's development tax.

Nitin Gadkari laid the foundation stones of the four-lane flyover near Thiruvananthapuram Eanchakkal, service road bridge near Thiruvallam junction, four-lane underpass near Anayara, flyover near Mannaykkal junction, three six-lane underpasses on Walayar-Vadakkancherry route, three six-lane underpasses on Thrissur-Vadakkancherry route and three six-lane underpasses on Thrissur-Edappally route.

Construction of bridge across Cheruthoni Puzha in Idukki, road development in Bodimettu-Munnar section and road development in Nattukal-Tanav section were also dedicated online by Nitin Gadkari at a function organized in Munnar.
