Amendment Bill?

The Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland (Amendment) Bill 2023 was to empower 27 officers not below the rank of Deputy Collectors in addition to RDOs to dispose of land type conversion applications. The Raj Bhavan had received some complaints alleging that the transfer of power as stated in this bill passed by the Assembly would lead to corruption. So the Raj Bhavan refrained from signing it.
