CALIFORNIA: The winners of the 81st Golden Globe Awards have been unveiled. Cillian Murphy snagged the Best Actor award for his role in 'Oppenheimer' directed by Christopher Nolan which also took home the Best Film accolade. Christopher Nolan was honoured as the Best Director for 'Oppenheimer'. Ludwig GΓΆransson's original score for the film earned him the Best Original Score award. Robert Downey Jr. claimed the Best Supporting Actor title for his stellar performance in 'Oppenheimer'.

In the musical comedy category, 'Poor Things' helmed by Yor Goza Lanthimos secured the Best Film award. Lily Gladstone was named Best Actress for her role in 'Killers of the Flower Moon'. The Best Foreign Language Film award went to 'Anatomy of Fall' while 'The Boy and the Hero' was given the Best Animated Film. Emma Stone was selected as Best Actress in the musical comedy category for 'Poor Things' surpassing Margaret Robbie's portrayal of Barbie.

Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie was honoured with the Box Office and Cinematic Achievement Award, a new addition this year. The Best Original Song title was clinched by Billie Eilish's 'What Was I Made For' from Barbie. In television, 'The Bear', 'Succession' and 'Beef' triumphed as the best TV series. 'The Bear' claimed the Best TV Series award in the Musical-Comedy category while 'Succession' was named the Best TV Series in the Drama category.
