THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Central Meteorological Center has announced that there is a possibility of isolated heavy rains in four districts today. Chance of rain is predicted in Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Idukki and Malappuram districts. A yellow alert has also been declared in these districts. According to the Meteorological Department, 64.5 mm to 115.5 mm of rain will be received in 24 hours. The Central Meteorological Department has informed that there is no disruption to fishing in Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts.

11.01.2024: Chance of strong winds and bad weather over the Kanyakumari region and adjoining Maldives region with speeds up to 40 to 45 km/h and on some occasions up to 55 km/h.

12.01.2024: Chance of strong winds and bad weather over Kanyakumari region and Maldives region with a speed of 40 to 45 km/h and occasional up to 55 km/h. Fishing is not allowed on the above dates and areas.
