THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Railway is planning to introduce 1000 special train services from 25 cities including Thiruvananthapuram to Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The service will start from January 19th and the special train service will continue for the next 100 days. The consecration function of the Ram Temple is scheduled for January 22nd.

The service will be available from cities including Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Kolkata, Nagpur and Lucknow. The arrangement is meticulous such that 8 to 15 trains from these places will reach Ayodhya daily. A train carries 1500 to 2000 passengers. Through this, a maximum of 25,000 people will reach Ayodhya in a day. Railways estimates that the new Ayodhya Dham Junction railway station can handle 50,000 passengers. About 20 lakh people can be brought to Ayodhya in one hundred days only by trains.

Organizations like the Vishwa Hindu Parishad will also conduct the Ayodhya Pilgrimage along with the Railways. Prominent personalities of each state will travel to Ayodhya by train. Under the leadership of RSS, the Akshatham worshipped at the Ram temple will be delivered to 15 crore households in the country in the form of Prasad. In Kerala alone, the prasad and the photo of Lord Ram and the Ram Temple are delivered to fifty lakh homes. It has also been decided to organize Diwali-style celebrations by lighting lamps in the houses on the day of the dedication of the Ram Temple.
