IDUKKI: SFI and DYFI workers raise obscene slogans against Governor Arif Mohammad Khan. BJP intervened in the incident and filed a complaint with the police. The complainant is Hari, the president of the central region. The complaint was submitted to the Idukki District Police Chief.

The demand of BJP is to file a case against SFI and DYFI workers and conduct an investigation. The complaint states that the governor is a person holding a constitutional position and the protest is without showing that courtesy.

CPM workers protested during Governor Arif Mohammad Khan's visit to Idukki on Tuesday. The SFI and DYFI workers protested with slogans like 'Tantonni, Themmadi, Echil Patti'.

The Governor came to Thodupuzha to inaugurate the Karunya Family Safety Project implemented by Kerala Vyapari Vyavasayi Ekopana Samithi KVVES Idukki District Committee. As the LDF announced a hartal in Idukki, police had beefed up security.
