NEW DELHI: BJP is all set to launch a new strategy in the run-up to the Lok Sabha elections. As part of the party's plans, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting all states before mid-March. Kickstarting BJP's election campaign, Modi arrived in Kerala on January 3 to participate in a women's conference organized by BJP and Mahila Morcha at Thekkinkad Maidan.
After visiting Kerala, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Lakshadweep, Modi will visit Maharashtra next. After this, he will visit Bihar on January 13 and then Jharkhand. On January 22, he will arrive in Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple.
Along with this, the party plans PM's visit to other places. Apart from the Prime Minister, BJP's move is to bring party strongmen Amit Shah and JP Nadda to all the states even before the election date is announced.
According to party sources, the aim is to organize a round-trip visit of the Prime Minister to all the states ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. A public event and a roadshow will be held at each visiting location, sources said.
BJP has prepared elaborate plans for the campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. The initial activities involve the party workers. The master plan is followed by visits by senior party leaders at Lok Sabha constituencies.
