SEOUL: Giving hints of a possible conflict with South Korea, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un said that his country has no 'intention to avoid war' with Seoul.

"We would by no means unilaterally bring a great event by the overwhelming strength in the Korean peninsula but we have no intention of avoiding a war as well," the leader was quoted as saying.

Kim Jong Un has called on his military to prepare for war and increase production of nuclear weapons. There are also reports that he visited the major arms factories of the country.

Kim Jong Un also declared South Korea as the 'most hostile' state towards North Korea. He described the deteriorating relationship between the two Koreas as a 'new phase of change' and 'unavoidable reality'.

Hostilities between the Koreas have increased over the past few weeks. Relations worsened after South Korea launched its spy satellite over North Korea. North Korea has also cancelled its military agreement with South Korea.
