The arrest of Youth Congress state president Rahul Mamkoothil by the police the other day had led to widespread criticism. Even the court had questioned the action of the police. Rahul was arrested for offences such as attacking the police during the Secretariat March, obstructing the official duty of the police and attacking the police vehicle. Now, actor and director Joy Mathew has come out with a Facebook post mocking the police for arresting Rahul in the wee hours of the day by surrounding his house. Joy Mathew mocked the police by saying that 'Operation Mango Tree' carried out by the police was a very complicated move.

He also mocked that the Kerala police earned two feathers on its cap by arresting Rahul Mamkootathil.

'The Kerala police has won two feathers on its cap by arresting Rahul Mamkootathil. The first feather is for arresting a fierce terrorist who fought against the Chief Minister's 'horse sacrifice'. The second one is for choosing that particular time for fear of getting burnt when the sun rises,' Joy Mathew wrote.
