THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Allegation against the police in the bail application filed by the state president Rahul Mamkootathil, who was arrested in connection with the violence in the youth congress's secretariat march. In the bail application given to the District Principal Sessions Judge, Rahul alleges that there is doubt in the expert medical examination report produced by the police as per the instructions of the Magistrate.

The police submitted a report that sabotages the results of days of expert tests in a super-speciality hospital that found a neurological disorder. Magistrate Abhinimol S Rajendran had directed the police to submit an expert examination of Rahul Mamkootathil to verify the authenticity of the medical examination report submitted to the court for bail after his arrest. The report of nervous illness was presented by the police within an hour without any examination. The defendant stated that the court did not doubt it. The lawyer pointed out that the court had taken the police report at face value and had denied bail to Rahul without considering the severity of his illness.

In the remand application filed by the police 20 days after the incident, nowhere does it say that Rahul directly led the violence during the Secretariat March. In the bail application submitted through advocate Mridul John Mathew, it is said that Rahul has been unjustly imprisoned only because of political enmity.
