JAMMU: Terrorists attacked army vehicles in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch on Friday evening. The army promptly returned fire and fortunately, no soldiers were injured.
Army Chief General Manoj Pandey stated yesterday that terrorists, with Pakistan's support have been active in the Rajouri-Poonch region for five to six months. The Indian Army has thwarted numerous infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC). Adversaries are encouraging a shadow war to destabilize it.
In December 2023, a landmine attack on army vehicles in Poonch resulted in the loss of four soldiers' lives with five others injured. Sadly, another attack has followed.
