THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM to make the next phase of parliamentary election campaign activities more dynamic. It will begin with the human chain led by DYFI on the 20th of this month. Although the human chain is against central neglect, the election is also a goal.
CPM is going into this with the confidence that the 36-day Navkerala Sadas, in which the Chief Minister and Ministers lined up, shook up political Kerala.
The 700 km long human chain from Kasaragod to Raj Bhavan in Thiruvananthapuram will be held on the 20th from 4 to 5 pm. Block-level meetings will also be held before 4 pm on that day. After a long time, CPM leaders and cadres will join hands in the human chain held by DYFI. Social and cultural leaders will participate in the protest against the central government's policy and discrimination that is putting Kerala in debt.
Strike in Delhi may be reconsidered
The LDF may reconsider or postpone the dharna that the Chief Minister, Ministers, Left MPs and MLAs would hold in Delhi in February against the central government's neglect. This is in view of the possibility that the announcement of the parliamentary elections will come at the end of next month. The decision will be based on the election date. The CPM state secretariat meeting today evaluated the preliminary activities from the state level to the booth level related to the parliamentary elections. The state committee meeting that will be held tomorrow and day after will also evaluate the same.
