THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: MLA Antony Raju on Saturday said that the travel woes in Thiruvananthapuram city will be solved completely within three months. He also told the media that the current dilapidated roads will look like those in Dubai.
"Everything has been at a standstill for the past six years with the Smart City activities in the city. The contractor left halfway. Finally a new plan with all the legal protections was created, the old one was dropped, and by doing so, the tender fund lapsed by June. Then all the planned plans will be implemented", he said.
"The contractors who dug the roads left. Their motive was to make money. Officials may have also supported them. The roads will be completed in May. In some difficult stages, a cesarean is performed to safely take out a baby. Similarly, now we have a problem. It will all be fine within three months. Roads with modern systems will soon be read in the city," said Antony Raju.
