NEW DELHI: The inauguration ceremony of Bharat Jodo Naya Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be delayed. This was after the special IndiGo flight carrying Rahul Gandhi and other leaders from New Delhi to Imphal in Manipur was delayed. The flight was delayed due to heavy fog in the capital.

IndiGo has announced on social media that flight services have been delayed due to heavy fog. After this, there were reports that Rahul Gandhi's flight was also delayed. The Congress had aimed to complete the tour of Manipur today by inaugurating it in the afternoon. It was decided to tour Nagaland tomorrow.

The 67-day-long Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra will begin today at Thoubal in Manipur. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will flag off the yatra at Khongjom War Memorial. The yatra will pass through 110 districts of 15 states. The yatra is expected to conclude in Mumbai on March 20 or 21. The journey is 6200 km through 85 districts of 14 states. The yatra will pass through the states of Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
