IMPHAL: Bharat Jodo Naya Yatra led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has started. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge flagged off and officially started the yatra at Thoubal. The program started with Rahul Gandhi and other leaders who arrived in a special Indigo flight from New Delhi laying wreaths at the Khongjom War Memorial in Thoubal.

The 66-day yatra will pass through 110 districts of fifteen states. Rahul Gandhi will travel from East to West of India. Leaders of the 'INDIA' front parties like CPI, CPM, JD(U), AAP, Trinamool, RSP, Forward Bloc, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Wing) and NCP also attended the flag-off ceremony.

Congress leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge, Chief Ministers Siddaramaiah, A Revanth Reddy, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, working committee members, legislature party leaders and others are lining up for the yatra along with Rahul Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi did not attend the function due to security reasons.
