IMPHAL: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that the Modi government has done injustice to the people of Manipur and spread hatred.

"Modi has not reached Manipur yet. Hatred was spread in every nook and cranny of Manipur. Manipur's pain is not PM's pain. This is disgraceful. The party discussed where to start the Yatra. It was I who said that we should start from Manipur itself. Jodo Yatra is against injustice. Modi government has shown injustice to the people of Manipur. Injustice was also shown to the people of the country. Our journey is to know the pain of people. We will inform it to the nation by listening to the voice of the people.'- Rahul Gandhi said.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge flagged off the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra led by Rahul Gandhi and officially started it in Thoubal. The program started with Rahul Gandhi and other leaders who arrived in a special Indigo flight from New Delhi laying wreaths at the Khongjom War Memorial in Thoubal.

The 66-day yatra will pass through 110 districts of fifteen states. Rahul Gandhi will travel from East to West of India. Leaders of the 'INDIA' front parties like CPI, CPM, JD(U), AAP, Trinamool, RSP, Forward Bloc, Shiv Sena (Uddhav Wing) and NCP also attended the flag-off ceremony.

Congress leaders including Mallikarjun Kharge, Chief Ministers Siddaramaiah, A Revanth Reddy, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, working committee members, legislature party leaders and others are lining up for the yatra along with Rahul Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi did not attend the function due to security reasons.
