NEW DELHI: With only a week left for the consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the preparations are in the final stage. The temple trust said that a special gift will be given to all those who will participate in the consecration ceremony on January 22. A member of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust said that the gift 'Ramraj' is given to more than 11,000 guests.

Ramraj is the soil excavated during the laying of the foundation stone of the temple. The soil is kept in small boxes and given to the guests. The trust said that this soil, which is considered sacred, can be kept in the home gardens. "It is a matter of good fortune to have this soil in any house," a member of the trust said.

Motichoor Ladu made with special ghee is also served as prasad along with Ramraj. Guests who cannot attend the ceremony will be given Ramraj next time they visit the temple. The chief guest of the function, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will be presented with a 15-meter long image of the Ram temple wrapped in a jute sack, the trust member added.

Pran-pratishtha ceremony will be held on January 22 at 12.20 pm. A Vedic team led by Laxmikant Dixit will perform the main functions.

Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Amitabh Bachchan, Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, movie stars, monks, politicians and many others will witness the ceremony.
