THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A special adalat for speedy disposal of free land type conversion applications up to 25 cents will begin today. 1,18,523 applications are under consideration. The first adalat is in Mananthavady RDO in Wayanad which has the least number of applicants (632). The last one will be on February 17 in Fort Kochi with more applicants (14,754).
This adalat does not require special application. The token number will be sent on the phone number given in the earlier application. If you have applied through Akshaya centre, message will be sent to that number. The order for settlement will be given on the same day. Processing of conversion applications above 25 cents will be expedited after adalat.
