NEW DELHI: A passenger has shared his grievances about the food served on the Vandebharat Express. Akash Keshari, who travelled from Delhi to Varanasi, has expressed his grievance through social media.
Akash has tagged Indian Railways, Ashwini Vaishnav and Vandebharat Express in his tweet. The note says that the 'Food that was served now is smelling and very dirty food quality. These vendors are spoiling the brand name of Vande Bharat Express.' In the post, he also says that railways should return his money. A video of the meal was also shared with the post. IRCTC has commented on the incident by apologizing on its official page. A fine of Rs 25,000 was imposed on the catering licensee. Employees who prepared substandard food were removed from their duties. Complaints were raised against Vandebharat food before this as well. A passenger had alleged that she got hair from her food.
