KOCHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi's two-day visit to Kerala has begun with his road show. BJP State President K Surendran was also present in the open vehicle along with the Prime Minister in the road show which started from KPCC Junction on MG Road. The Prime Minister greeted the people and party workers who thronged both sides of the road. A large number of people came to the roadshow with cheers and a shower of flowers for Modi.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Governor Arif Muhammad Khan received Prime Minister Modi who arrived at Nedumbassery Airport a little while ago. The Prime Minister's roadshow is now taking place on MG Road, from KPCC Junction to the Guest House after crossing Hospital Road, which is about a quarter of a kilometre away. Then overnight stay at guest house.
The Prime Minister will leave for Guruvayur by helicopter tomorrow at 6:30 am. After visiting the temple, he will attend the wedding of Suresh Gopi's daughter. At 10:10, he will visit the Thriprayar Shree Ramaswami Temple for darshan. Then he will return to Kochi and inaugurate the drydock at Kochi Shipyard. After attending a meeting of BJP workers at Marine Drive, he will reach Nedumbassery airport by helicopter and return to Delhi.
