KOCHI: 'Greetings, my dear colleagues...You are the lifeblood of this party', Prime Minister Narendra Modi began speaking in Malayalam at the BJP's Shakthi Kendra program in Marine Drive, Kochi. The Prime Minister arrived at Marine Drive after inaugurating projects worth Rs 4,000 crore including the Kochi International Ship Repair Centre, Dry Dock and IOC's LPG Import Terminal at Wellington Island.
"Generations of activists in every nook and cranny of Kerala are holding the flag of BJP aloft in a hostile environment. I bow down to BJP workers who remain committed to patriotism even when national justice is being violated. The love of the people of Kerala is always surprising. Thousands of people came to bless me," Modi said.
"The ability of BJP workers in Kerala is huge. Only a strong organization can organize such a big event. Today, BJP has become the party of all sections of the country. Only the BJP has a history of rapid development and a clear vision of the future. A developed India can be created only by empowering the poor, women, youth and farmers. BJP is a party that gives great importance to the welfare of the poor," he added.
"Good treatment was provided to the poor, good houses were built, free ration was given and free cooking gas was given. In this way, BJP has made the life of the poor safe. The primary objective of the BJP government is to increase the income and savings of the common people of the country"

By getting medicines at 80 percent discount from Jan Oushadhi centres, people have saved about Rs 25,000 crore. Ten years ago, the country was ruled by an unstable government. The BJP government has decided to waive income tax on income up to Rs 7 lakh. The tax payers of the country got a profit of Rs 2.5 lakh crore. The BJP government has reduced the price of mobile phone and data," Modi pointed out in his speech.
