THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: CPM central committee member AK Balan came out in support of Chief Minister's daughter Veena in Exalogic investigation. He said that all the required documents have been submitted.
"No corruption has taken place. The High Court has not sent a notice to the Chief Minister or Veena. Let the High Court examine the matter. Additional documents will be provided if required," Balan said. He also said that the ROC had no authority to inquire whether Exalogic provided the service. He added that the vigilance court dismissed the monthly payment case after months.
Meanwhile, CPM state secretary MV Govindan responded that the investigation against Exalogic is politically motivated. "The ED and Company Affairs Department investigations are politically motivated. The central agencies are investigating with the elections in mind," he said.
The finding of the Registrar of Companies that Veena Vijayan had tampered with the documents came out the other day. It was found that there were false information in the affidavit and application filed by Exalogic Company for freezing.
