Devotees in Ayutthaya, located 3500 km from Ayodhya, worship Lord Rama. They actively participate in Ayodhya's Prana Pratishtha ceremony contributing soil and holy water from Thailand's main rivers. Hindu temples in Ayutthaya and other Thai cities will install big screens on Prana pratistha day. Vishwa Hindu Parishad members in Bangkok state that lamps will be lit, bhajans performed and Ramayana recitation held in all temples.
