AYODHYA: As the preparations for the Ram temple consecration in Ayodhya enter the final hours, the image of Ram Lalla's idol installed in the sanctum sanctorum has emerged on social media. The idol holding a golden bow and arrow is the form of Lord Rama when he was five years old. The 51-inch tall Rama idol carved in 'Krishna Shila' is made by the sculptor Arun Yogiraj, a native of Mysore. Although the pictures of it were earlier released, the eyes were covered with cloth.

Meanwhile, Sangh Parivar organizations are distributing Jai Shri Ram flags at homes in connection with Pran-Pratishta. In addition, Prime Minister Narendra Modi released six types of stamps with images of the Ram temple, Surya, Sarayu River, Ganapati, Hanuman, Jatayu and various temple sculptures etc.

Modi also released a book containing a collection of stamps related to Rama. The stamp book is an attempt to showcase the international appeal of Lord Ram and covers stamps issued by more than 20 countries, including the US, New Zealand, Singapore, Canada, Cambodia, and organisations like the UN.

"Today we had the privilege of releasing a commemorative postage stamp dedicated to the heritage of the holy Ayodhya Dham and Lord Shri Ram. On this occasion, a book related to stamps issued on Lord Shri Ram around the world was also unveiled. I am confident that the commemorative postage stamp and this book will continue to remind many generations to come of this auspicious occasion of the consecration of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple," PM Modi posted on X.

The Prime Minister will take a dip in the Sarayu river on the morning of January 22, the consecration day. He will then walk 2 kilometres to Ram Janmabhoomi through Rampath and Bhaktipath. He'll then visit the Hanuman Garhi temple.
