ALAPPUZHA: NK Premachandran MP injured in a car accident. The accident occurred in a collision with another vehicle at Mavelikkara Puthiyakavu. The MP sustained injuries on his forehead and leg but not seriously. He has been admitted to the Mavelikkara district hospital.

Doctors say that the X-ray of the MP's leg has been taken and there are no other problems. He is now under observation for an hour. The accident happened when he was returning to Kollam after visiting his daughter's house in Changanassery. The MP's vehicle collided with another car which had just been unloaded from the showroom. NK Premachandran was asleep when the accident took place.
