MALAPPURAM: A Plus Two student, who attempted suicide at school, died while undergoing treatment. The deceased has been identified as Ponnani native Aleena Thyagaraj (17). Aleena was a Plus Two student of Jawahar Navodaya School in Malappuram.

The girl had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital for the last two days. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
