THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Ganesh Kumar expressed his displeasure over the leakage of KSRTC electric bus income information. He said that he will no longer take any decisions and reveal about the income. The minister said that the officials will inform him if there is anything. The minister also told the media that some people have a special interest in harming him.


'Within a week, the media stopped everything. Some have a vested interest in harming him. God knows everything I said is true. A new decision will not be taken. All will be informed by the officials. After the punishment, no decision should be taken,’ said Ganesh Kumar.


The KSRTC report came out through the media the other day, contradicting the minister's claim that e-bus services in the state are running at a loss. A report has come out that the services are profitable. Following this, the minister expressed his displeasure. The minister mentioned about the leaked report in the meeting of KSRTC top officials yesterday and gave strict instructions not to repeat such things. The minister entrusted an executive director to find out how the report leaked.


The minister had asked KSRTC for a report including the collection of e-buses. Since CMD Biju Prabhakar had gone abroad, the report was given by the joint MD. The information came out before the report was submitted. The information in the annual report of KSRTC came out. CPM state secretary M V Govindan, V K Prashant MLA and Thiruvananthapuram Mayor Arya Rajendran came forward against the stand taken by the minister regarding e-buses. Meanwhile, the report came out. It is reported that this angered the minister.
