THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The NDA Kerala Padayatra led by NDA State Chairman and BJP State President K Surendran is set to kick off in Kasaragod on the 27th of this month. The Padayatra will be inaugurated by BJP National President JP Nadda. K Surendran's activities will commence in Kasaragod district starting with a temple visit by K Madhur in the morning.

At 10.30 am, Surendran will participate in a meeting with beneficiaries of various central government schemes at Kumbala. Following that, at 12 noon, he will address the Snehasangam program at Jeevas Manasa Auditorium involving religious community and cultural leaders from the Kasaragod Lok Sabha constituency. The Padayatra will traverse through Kannur on the 29th, Wayanad on the 30th and Vadakara on the 31st.

On February 3, 5, 6, 7, the tour will cover Attingal, Pathanamthitta, Kollam and Mavelikkara constituencies. Subsequent stops include Kottayam, Alappuzha and Thiruvananthapuram constituencies on the 9th, 10th and 12th. Union Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the Padayatra in Thiruvananthapuram.

Further, the Padayatra will be conducted in Idukki on February 14 and in Chalakkudy on February 15. The tour will continue through Malappuram, Kozhikode and Alathur constituencies on the 19th, 20th and 21st.

The Kerala Padayathra will conclude in Palakkad on the 27th, with various Union Ministers and Central leaders inaugurating the event each day. Both opening and closing sessions will be organized in each constituency. About 25,000 people are expected to participate in the procession in each parliamentary constituency including people recognized in various societal sectors.

The mornings will feature charity gatherings with religious community leaders and beneficiaries of central government schemes. Development seminars will also be conducted to discuss constituency-specific development issues and expectations. In the afternoons, 1000 individuals from each constituency are anticipated to join the BJP and NDA during the Padayathra. The procession aims to facilitate membership in the central government's development and welfare schemes, with dedicated help desks and displays of still images depicting various implemented schemes.
