THRISSUR: Thrissur MLA and CPI leader P Balachandran retracted the social media post related to Sri Rama and Sita Lakshmanan after the controversy. The MLA wrote in the Facebook post that Raman was sadhu and that Ram and Laxman served Sita Porotta and meat. People including the BJP came forward with severe criticism. Later, the MLA who withdrew the post also expressed his regret. P Balachandran's explanation is that an old story was shared.
