KASARGOD: NDA Kerala Padayatra led by BJP state president K.Surendran will start from Kasaragod on January 27 with the slogan 'Modi's guarantee is New Kerala'. National and state leaders of BJP and NDA constituents will be present at the function.

The padayatra, in which 25,000 people will participate, will conclude Melparamba on the first day. In the morning, K Surendran will visit the Madhur temple. JP Nadda will also participate in the meeting of beneficiaries of central schemes at Kumbala at 10.30 am. A gathering of religious community and cultural leaders of Kasaragod Lok Sabha constituency will take place at noon at the Jeevan Manasa Auditorium.

It has been decided to conduct a padayatra of ten kilometres in each constituency. After holding discussions and meetings in the morning, padayatra will be held in the afternoon. There will be opening and closing sessions in each constituency. Front leaders will take turns participating in the padayatra. The padayatra will pass through Kannur on the 29th, Wayanad on the 30th and Vadakara on the 31st. After touring all 20 constituencies, the padayatra will conclude on the 27th of next month in Palakkad.
