PATNA: Busy political discussions are in progress in Bihar where front equations are changing. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has summoned the party MLAs to Patna while the rumours of him joining the NDA after breaking ties with the INDIA bloc continue to be strong. The MLAs have been asked to reach Patna immediately.

BJP state president Samrat Choudhary and Union Minister Ashwini Choubey left for Delhi to discuss the political situation. Meanwhile, RJD president Lalu Prasad Yadav has come out with swift moves in the new situation.

If the JD(U) pulls out of the current cabinet, the Grand Alliance will be short of eight MLAs to have an absolute majority. Lalu Prasad discussed the current political situation with his confidants Bhola Yadav and Shakti Singh Yadav. It is also reported that some MLAs went to Lalu's house and held discussions with him.

Meanwhile, it is reported that a section of JD(U) MLAs is against the move to ally with the BJP again. They are also in talks with RJD.
