governor

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Governor Arif Mohammad Khan said that Kerala Police is good but they are not being allowed to operate properly. The police cannot control the protesters because the CM controls the police. The governor also told the media that something hit his car.

"There were more than 100 policemen to stop the 22 protesters but the police could not stop them. Policemen are under pressure to work. Is this how the police will provide security if it is the Chief Minister who passes through the same road? I have not asked the center for security. I am 72 years old. I am not afraid of anyone. - said the governor.

Meanwhile, the Governor's journey will be entirely under the control of the security personnel from now on. Earlier there was a protest against the Governor at Nilamel, Kollam. The Governor had gone to attend a meeting at Swami Sadananda Ashram. He got out of the car and sat in front of the roadside shop to protest after the protesters showed him a black flag. He finally got back into the car, after seeing the copy of the FIR. The Union Home Ministry, who came to know about the incident, provided Z Plus CRPF security to the Governor.

Z Plus CRPF is the highest security in the country after SPG. A bullet proof vehicle will also be provided. Reports say NSG commandos will also provide security to the governor if needed. Currently, only 40 people in the country are given Z Plus security. SFI workers had protested against the Governor in Thiruvananthapuram a little while ago.
